Extra, extra, read all about it! San Francisco’s newest wedding and events venue is Pier 27! Located at The Embarcadero Cruise Ship Terminal, the city’s newest event space boasts panoramic views of the entire San Francisco Bay. Nestled along the waterfront in a park-like setting, Pier 27 is an ideal spot for hosting events of all kinds. Guests are treated to spectacular views of Treasure Island, the San Francisco-Oakland-Bay Bridge, the city’s Financial District and even Coit Tower. The building itself has a contemporary style with floor-to-ceiling windows, concrete and steel structural details, large open spaces and, is a state-of-the-art LEED Certified design. Did we mention the size?? 54,000 square feet on San Francisco’s waterfront with two levels of event space…what could be more spectacular than that?

With such a large space, imaginations run wild at Pier 27. That’s why we teamed up with Metro Events and some of our city’s top event professionals to create a unique design concept for hosting events. Our inspiration for the design you’ll see below was the mixing of light and color, leading us to the idea of Luminous Pastels. Think of an artist’s palette with citrus-colored paints; or a gelateria with luscious gelato on display; or even a box of pretty macaroons. These colors evoke cheer, light hearts and joyful times. Our goal was to infuse these colors and attributes into the modern, urban space at Pier 27.

In the images below, you’ll see how we transformed the venue into three single-use areas designed for a wedding ceremony, cocktail reception and formal dining area. We hope you enjoy all of the pretty little details that came together to create a cohesive style from ceremony to reception.

And please take time out to visit the websites of our fellow event professionals who worked tirelessly on the design concepts to get everything just right! Thank you everyone!

The historic Bently Reserve is one of San Francisco’s most cherished venues. Originally the Old Federal Reserve, the building combines old San Francisco elegance with todays best ECO friendly management. Stunning from the moment you arrive, you walk up the grand staircase and are welcomed by the beautiful Banking Hall lined with stunning marble columns.

The Bently Reserve

The Bently Reserve was built for special events. The beauty of the architecture lends itself to create the perfect back drop for any special event. Not only is the Bently Reserve a unique and sustainable venue, it has received the LEED-CI Platinum Certification. Little touches like the “Couples Lounge”,  a space for the couple to have some private time during their wedding while still being connected to their guests with a flat screen that covers the festivities inside the Banking Hall.

What we love most about Carmel Valley Ranch is the variety of event space it has to offer and the modern luxury of a five star resort. We have had the opportunity to design multiple events at Carmel Valley Ranch.

For this Modern Chic celebration we used the natural backdrop on the picturesque Valley Lawn to add to the clean lines of the custom chuppah. After the ceremony, guests were invited to the Redwood Room where they had stunning views of the valley all around as they dined and danced the night away.
