Morgan Events Standards | Venues with a View

Ah, the natural landscapes of the earth. Majestic mountains, Great Plains, shining sea views. Sunshine, full moons, crisp, clean air.  September brings a change to the season. Shorter daylight hours and clear, cloudless nights. It gives us good reason to pause and be grateful for the bounty and beauty of the earth. Speaking of natural beauties, today’s blog entry is all about venues with a view.

Special occasions call for special places in which to celebrate. And we know one thing that makes a place special… the view! If you follow our blog you’ve probably seen many of the amazing places our work takes us. From bustling metropolitan cities to the shores of Hawaii, we love making our clients dreams come true wherever they may choose. The vistas and views we are lucky enough to experience are awe-inspiring. Often, we make suggestions to our clients about the timing of events or how to use event spaces in an effort to maximize the surrounding scenery. For example, an outdoor wedding in Napa Valley would be remiss not to showcase the rolling vineyards of one of the world’s famous wine growing regions. Similarly, an afternoon garden party should ensure that guests are moved around the space. That way, each unique feature of the garden can be showcased at the appropriate time of day to maximize needed sun or shade. When planning an event in an urban environment, finding available outdoor space to show your city to friends and family can be tricky. But when you think vertically, you’ll discover the perfect rooftop venue and all will be spoiled with a cool city view.

Some of these ideas may seem easy to imagine in theory, but it does take some planning to execute them properly. You have to provide the opportunities for what you want and you have to manage the flow of timing to make things happen. As your lead planners and designers, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. We know all the best ways to showcase venues with a view. All the planning and strategizing is certainly worth it when our couples get that low-tide beach ceremony, sunset wedding reception or intimate portrait session in the vineyard.

Without further delay, please enjoy some of our favorite venues with a view.
