Brrrrr, there’s a chill in the air as we settle into autumn and get ready for the winter season! Cozy nights curled up by the fire, dog by your feet, glass of wine in hand; or maybe your favorite blanket, a cup of hot cocoa, candles burning and a good book. Anything that evokes a sense of coziness is perfect for chilly nights indoors! You may even hear or see the word Hygge a lot this time of year. It is a popular Danish and Norwegian word for a mood of coziness and comfortable conviviality with feelings of wellness and contentment. (Thank you, Wikipedia!) Doesn’t that sound like the perfect way to spend a night in? We thought so.
In the spirit of being cozy and hyggelig, we’re pulling out all the stops with candles! As the days grow shorter and nights get longer, adding a little candlelight to any room or table makes a big impact. Lighting a candle is instant gratification. Strike a match, light the wick and glowing light fills your space. We always say that lighting is everything and when it comes to candlelight, there’s no exception! When designing weddings and events, we use candles everywhere. From lining the ceremony aisle with floating candles to the mighty pillar candles lining our tables, little flames of light go a long way! So go ahead, find yourself a candle to light and then check out some of our creative designs featuring the beautiful glow of candlelight.
