Autumn in San Francisco — MORGAN EVENTS

And just like that, it’s October already! If you’re an avid readers of our blog, you’ll know how we love seasonal changes in wedding and event planning. From cooler temperatures (time for the outdoor heaters!) to warmer colors (hello scarlet, deep oranges and golden yellows), many elements of our design schemes change when autumn starts. In addition to temperatures and colors, we also use texture and lighting to create impact in our fall event designs. For example, silky feathers and soft wheat plumes paired with sleek marble or brass add visual interest to tablescapes. Velvet fabrics and leather loungers are also big impact items when setting seating vignettes. Candlelight- whether in the form of pillar candles, chandeliers or votives in amber glass- are essential to evoking a cosy atmosphere during this time of year.

The month of October also means the return of NBA basketball to San Francisco’s Chase Center. The reigning champion Golden State Warriors will be back in residence in their state of the art arena in the heart of downtown San Francisco. In addition to being the home of the GSW, Chase Center is a one-of-a-kind complex with spectacular private event space. Located on the 9th floor with a private street level entrance, Above the Rim at Chase Center (formerly Skybar) has capacity for 200 guests and boasts panoramic city skyline views and the surrounding waterfront. With indoor and outdoor space, the options are many for weddings and events of all kinds.
